The site started as a way to catalog and share images in 2009, and evolved to focus on creating thematic sets from digital archives, online collections, eBay listings, and scanned reading material. Design, art, vernacular typography, folk traditions, ecology, and alternative architecture were all themes. This is a small sample of posts from that project.
